I am skilled in working with a wide variety of mental health and behavioral issues including premarital counseling, marital/relationship problems, infidelity, divorce, life transitions, premarital counseling, depression, and anxiety, older adolescents (ages 17 and up), AD/HD, substance use, traumatic stress, parenting skills, grief and loss. I take a systemic, strengths-based, cognitive behavioral and solution-focused approach with clients. I have am a certified Advanced ART therapist. Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is an evidence based therapy that uses eye movements to process traumatic events. Irene Burbul earned her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology in 2002. She holds a license in Marriage and Family Therapy. She also is a certified Life Coach, approved member of the Gottman Relationship Check up program, completed Gottman Method Level I and II Trainings, and Advanced Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)-Certified therapist.
